The Annual Member Meeting for the Moffat Water Supply Corporation will be held at the Moffat Community Center located at 13410 Kuykendall Mountain Road, Temple, TX 76502. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023. The purpose of the meeting will be to update the membership on the business affairs of the Corporation and to conduct a director election unless the election is declared unopposed by a resolution of the board of directors.

Members may request that items be placed on the agenda by contacting the Corporation’s office during regular business hours or sending an email to the Corporation at custserv@moffatwatersupply.com at least one week prior to the date of the meeting. No motions may be accepted, or action taken on issues brought up at the meeting from the floor. All action items must have been included in the Notice Agenda of the Annual Members Meeting posted 72 hours in advance of the meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.

In accordance with the Texas Water Code, the Board of Directors of Moffat WSC recently passed a Resolution by declaring two unopposed candidates to the Board, which consequently terminates the election process for 2023. The Resolution has been included with this Notice for your convenience.

Moffat WSC currently has an opening to appoint a member to fill the vacancy of one (1) board of director position. Minimum qualifications to serve on the board are 1) must be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled on the date of appointment, and 2) a member of the Corporation.
