Currently Moffat Water Supply Corporation has issued a freeze on issuing new water meters pending the results of a modeling survey from our engineers. This frezze DOES NOT apply to the transfer of an existing water service that is current and not in delinquent status. What this does mean is that we have concern there may be areas within our system that are at maximum capacity. In order to continue to provide quality service to all of our current customers we need to find out if and/or where these areas exist. Until that time we will not approve any new meters/service.
At this point: Our crew has placed pressure recorders througout the system and collected data to provide to our engineers. That data has been handed over to our Engineer and they are in the process of creating the modeling survey.
After the modeling survey is complete we will know more about our systems capacity and capabilities for new services. At this time we have created a waiting list for anyone needing a water meter.
